Rivers

Gorai river is one of the rivers of Kushtia Sadar upazila. Gorai is one of the tributaries of the Padma. It is one of the second largest rivers in Kushtia. Gorai exits the Padma near Talbaria, three miles north-west of Kushtia town, and flows through the south side of Kumarkhali town through Kushtia Sadar upazila. Kushtia town and Hatsh Haripur union of Sadar upazila are situated on the banks of Gorai.
