In Kushtia Sadar Upazila, ancient indigenous sports and modern sports are coming along. Indigenous sports such as stick game, slope-road, kabaddi, ha-du-du, gadan, boat race, swimming, gollachut, shepherd's series game, dangs, marble, bouchi, wife hunting, kite flying etc. are being played. Modern sports include football, hockey, cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and many more. There is a stadium called Kushtia Stadium in Kushtia Sadar Upazila.
